Severn Eaton is a death doula, artist, teacher, father, and friend, raised in North Carolina, recently returned to Asheville from New York City. His background is primarily in visual arts, with a BFA from ASU and MFA from UNC-CH. His professional work has varied from studio practice, galleries and museums to building and academic positions. Recent turns have led him to in-depth studies in psychedelic therapies, dream studies and end of life care, where he completed the Death Doula Program at the Center for Conscious Living and Dying in Swannanoa, NC. All of these practices are culminating in a unique way of serving a higher purpose in finding peace through working in healing arts and creative communities.
